High Mountain Lake

Hidden in the hills to the east of Big 8 Mile canyon is another road that is now gated off. I wasn't sure where it would end up but the ride was worth it when I got to the top.
Image: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 All Subalpine Fir and Lodgepole line the banks of this creek. Wildflowers are enjoying the short time they have to display their beauty before once again cold nights force them into another hybernation.
