2001 Fire, From a Helicopter

These are photographs taken by a firefighter from a Forest Service Helicopter. You can image that we all got very tired (and sick of) breathing all this smoke!
Image: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 All This gives you an idea of how high those flames can reach when a tree is totally involved. These trees are measuring in at the 100 foot line. Flames are exceeding the tops of the trees.
