Lemhi County Weed Control is required to publish the noxious weed law on an annual basis. This article explains in detail the noxious weed law and the requirements of private landowners within the County. The Idaho Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites the public to participate in an annual statewide hearing to discuss motor vehicle and helicopter use in wild horse management operations on March 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at: Rock Creek Fire Department, 242 Highway 30, Kimberly, Idaho 83341.

In his February 27 report to the Lemhi County Commissioners, Landfill Manager Jack Miller said that in a couple of weeks the Idaho Solid Waste Spring Conference will be held in Boise. The conference is used to update landfill managers on all new and existing Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations.
