River Mountain Roasts came to be through the basic love of good coffee.
In winter of 2004, a dear friend needed some serious vehicle repairs and offered a small one pound roaster and some inventory for sale.
The business came with a double handful of customers, a piece of equipment and some tubs of green coffee beans..
Since 2004, some simple changes have allowed for some better production as well as more consistency in what we can offer both in pricing and availability. A change is roasting equipment allows better control but also has taught me to understand the art of coffee roasting.
We drink the coffee we roast, and good coffee is the only exceptable outcome !
