The 13th annual Challis Classy Chassis Car Show made for a perfect summer day of good weather, family fun and shiny cars at the Y-Intersection last Saturday. Families, with dogs and children in tow, walked and ran from car to car on both sides of Challis’ Main Avenue at the intersection, casting votes for their favorite cars, trucks or motorcycles. Overall, this was one of Challis’ best car shows, said Connie Sugden, secretary-treasurer of Challis Classy Chassis. There were 65 car, truck or motorcycle entries, with owners driving over from Payette, Twin Falls, Salmon, Arco, Idaho Falls, Oregon, Arizona and California. Admission was free, so everyone and their dog showed up, even the Shriners with their Tin Lizzy.
